Job Description : Repair Manager and Technician Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing the Enumclaw Repair business, repairing instruments, and customer relationships
Daily activities
- Perform professional repairs on both customer and store instruments as required in a retail store setting
- Manage all repair work with priorities, accurate scheduling, and excellent organization with other employees that may be doing repairs
- Communicate with customers on repair estimates, status, and progress
- Keeping repair area stocked with commonly used repair parts by ordering repair parts as needed or working together with merchandising when purchasing from general inventory vendors
- Consistently keeping repair area organized, clean, and a showcase to customers
- And when needed, work the cash register, answer phones, help retail customers and other tasks as needed
Skills
- At least 2 years experience as a musical repair technician or equivalent experience
- Good communication, writing, phone, and computer skills
- Ability to play or ability learn to play multiple instruments
- Very good attention to detail, accuracy, and highly organized
- Excellent problem solving skills
Compensation and Work Schedule
- Estimated initial work schedule: 4-5 days per week – 4-6 hours per day at Enumclaw Music location in Enumclaw, WA
- Estimated pay rate: commensurate with experience
