Beginning Guitar (Thurs 6 - 6:50p)

This beginning guitar class provides students with the basic knowledge needed to enjoy playing the guitar at the beginning level covering how to tune, hold, strum, and basic chords used in most songs. The goal is to play a variety of simple guitar songs for the enjoyment of yourself and friends.
Class will cover how to tune, hold, and strum a guitar, as well as basic chords used in most songs. The goal is to play a variety of simple guitar songs for the enjoyment of yourself and friends.
Practice techniques are taught in class and used to work through the material in the sessions. Daily practice is essential to fully take advantage of the course material.
