Experience
Kat has been playing violin for thirteen years, cello for two, and has had four years of experience teaching both children and adults. Her classes focus heavily on music theory, performance and music application. Her goal is to give students the opportunity to accomplish whatever their goal is, and give them the skills to excel in every area of their music journey.

In her lessons, students learn:
  - To play their chosen instrument properly and beautifully
  - The basics of music theory, including
        - Reading music fluently
        - The basics of keys and how they affect music
        - Why they play the instrument they way it's played, rather than just how
  - How to get the most out of at-home practice
  - How to preform both for yourself and for other people

Kat played as a first violinist for the Enumclaw High School Orchestra, and preformed with them at the Washington Music Educators Association Conference, she holds a great passion for both music and teaching, and is currently attending college for a degree in Music Education.
