Ruth Dirks

My name is Ruth Dirks, and I have been teaching private violin and piano lessons for 25 years. Music has always been an important part of my life. I studied violin, piano and enjoyed choir through later elementary years through high school. I continued violin, piano and choir in college, and also studied music theory and appreciation. I've played violin with the Rainier Symphony, local community performances, musicals, and violin or piano at teas, weddings, and other private functions. I also enjoy piano accompanying, and have accompanied many students and the elementary and middle school orchestras and choir. I've had a lot of experience working with school age children by teaching privately and volunteerng to help with the string program at the Enumclaw schools. 

I live in Ravensdale with my husband and two school age daughters.
