Piano
Barb Shane has been teaching piano for 25 years. She has a degree in education from Pepperdine College in Los Angeles, Ca. She studied piano with Barbara Jensen of Tacoma and uses Jensen's teaching materials.
Barb has accompanied many students for solo contests, recitals and has been the choir accompanist for churches.
Barb also plays for weddings, funerals and church services.
Her current piano studio includes 11 students with a waiting list available.
She teaches 3 private and 1 group lesson each month and teaches year round. Some students enter a Sonata Contest in October at Central Washington University, and the music teacher auditions in March.
All students perform in a Christmas recital and a recital in June.
